President's Message
Greetings CTRA members!
I don't know about you all but I am feeling tremendous enthusiasm and momentum after a wonderful conference and AGM in Whistler, BC. What an amazing community we have in TR and CTRA. I certainly feel privileged to be able to take on the Presidency role for such a tremendous group and would like to thank you for making me feel so welcomed into this position.
When working on our strategic plan in Whistler, one of the things we realized is how much potential this organization has. We have so much to accomplish across this nation to unite our practices but we cannot do this solely as 10 volunteer board members. We recognize we will need to rely on you, our membership, to achieve our strategic plan. As a board, our hope is that the membership will define CTRA's priorities and will be actively working towards these priorities on various committees and demonstrating them in the work you do on the front lines every day.
This year's board is made up of practitioners, educators and researchers that span the country. Each of these board members is looking forward to hearing from and working with you the membership. Our contact information can be found in the "About" and "Contact Us" section of the website. Please don't hesitate to e-mail us with any questions/concerns/comments/opinions etc. You are why we are here and drive what we do.
I would like to conclude with a quote that is how I hope to lead this year's board and membership:
"Go to the people. Learn from them. Live with them. Start with what they know. Build with what they have. The best of leaders when the job is done, when the task is accomplished, the people will say we have done it ourselves."

Sincerely,
Jacqueline Cook
